Add tasks, check them off, organize your day. Saved automatically — no signup, no upload, your data stays private.
This is a simple, distraction-free to-do list that runs entirely in your browser. No signup, no syncing nag screens, no premium upgrade prompts — just type a task and check it off when done. Your list saves automatically so you can close the tab and come back tomorrow.
Type a task in the box at the top and press Enter (or click Add). Keep tasks short and action-oriented — "Email Sarah about the proposal" beats "Sarah email thing."
Click the checkbox next to a task when it's done. Completed tasks stay visible (so you can see your progress) but are marked with a line-through. Filter by "Active" to hide them.
Use "Clear Done" to remove all completed tasks at once. This is a satisfying end-of-day ritual that gives you a fresh list for tomorrow without losing context on what's still pending.
Click Export to download your current task list as a plain text file. Useful for backups or moving to a different device. Re-import isn't needed — just copy-paste back in.
A list of 20+ items is a wish list, not a plan. Pick 3–7 things you'll actually finish today. Anything beyond that gets pushed to tomorrow.
"Email Sarah" not "Sarah's project." "Draft Q3 budget v1" not "Budget stuff." Concrete verbs make it easier to start.
Do the thing you're avoiding most before lunch. Everything after feels easy by comparison. This is sometimes called "eating the frog."
What got done? What slipped? Why? Spend 60 seconds reflecting before you close the tab. This builds a feedback loop that improves your planning over time.
Yes. All tasks save automatically to your browser's localStorage. They persist when you close the tab, but they're tied to this specific browser on this specific device.
No. To keep things private and free, nothing is uploaded to any server. To move your list, use the Export button on one device and re-add the tasks on the other.
No. There's no login, no email signup, no profile. Open the page, start typing.
Clearing localStorage will erase your tasks. Export important lists before clearing browser data, or before switching to a new computer.
The list is shown in the order you added them, with completed tasks moving to the bottom. For more complex prioritization, use numbers in the task title like "1. Do X."
Never. All tasks live in your browser only. No server, no cloud, no analytics on your task content.
