Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how WorkIQ ("WorkIQ", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit https://workiq.xyz (the "Site") and use the free online tools we provide. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site.
1. Who we are
WorkIQ is a collection of free, browser-based productivity tools — calculators, converters, generators, and developer utilities. You can reach us at any time at hello@workiq.xyz or through our Contact page.
2. Information we collect
a) Information you enter into tools. The majority of WorkIQ tools run entirely in your browser (client-side). When a tool processes text, numbers, images, or files, that data is handled locally on your device and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers by the tool itself.
b) Information you choose to send us. If you contact us or subscribe to update emails, we receive the name, email address, and message content you provide. We use this only to respond to you or to send the updates you requested.
c) Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring pages, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies (see below).
3. Cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device. We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies (such as web beacons and local storage) to operate the Site, remember preferences, measure traffic, and serve and measure advertising. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; however, disabling cookies may affect how some features and ads function.
4. Advertising — Google AdSense
We use third-party advertising companies, including Google AdSense, to serve ads when you visit the Site. These companies may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on the Site.
- Google's use of advertising cookies — including the DoubleClick DART cookie — enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our Site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can learn more about how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
5. Third-party vendors and opt-out
Third-party vendors and ad networks other than Google may also serve ads or measure performance on the Site, and may use their own cookies to do so. We do not control these third-party cookies. To learn more about your choices and to opt out of interest-based advertising from many participating companies, visit:
- aboutads.info/choices (Digital Advertising Alliance)
- youradchoices.com
- networkadvertising.org/choices (Network Advertising Initiative)
- youronlinechoices.eu (for EU visitors)
6. Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site — for example, which tools are popular and how pages perform. Google Analytics may set cookies and collect information such as your IP address and usage patterns. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
7. How we use information
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Site and its tools;
- To display and measure advertising;
- To analyze traffic and usage trends;
- To respond to your messages and send updates you have requested;
- To detect, prevent, and address technical issues, abuse, or fraud;
- To comply with legal obligations.
8. Your rights (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, update, or request deletion of your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to data portability. Where we rely on consent (for example, for personalized ads), you may withdraw that consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@workiq.xyz. Visitors in the EEA/UK are shown a consent choice for personalized advertising where required.
9. Your rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion of personal information, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as defined under the CCPA/CPRA. WorkIQ does not sell your personal information for money. To make a request, contact us at hello@workiq.xyz.
10. Children's privacy
The Site is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Data retention and security
We retain contact and subscription information only for as long as needed to provide the relevant service or to comply with legal obligations. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Third-party links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be highlighted on the Site where appropriate.
