Rule of thumb: sharing on screen β JPG at 85%. Printing or zooming into fine text β PNG or JPG at Print quality.
PDF pages have no fixed resolution β they are rendered at the DPI (dots per inch) you choose. Standard (~150 DPI) looks crisp on any screen and keeps files small. High (~220 DPI) stays sharp when zoomed. Print (~300 DPI) matches professional print resolution but produces the largest files and takes longest, especially on phones.

At High quality (300 DPI equivalent), rendered pages look sharp even when zoomed or printed. Standard quality (150 DPI) is smaller and fine for screens. JPG uses adjustable compression; PNG is lossless but larger.

JPG files are much smaller and ideal for photos and sharing online; quality is adjustable. PNG is lossless (no compression artifacts) and better for text-heavy pages, but files are larger.

No fixed limit, but each page is rendered in your browser's memory. Very long documents (100+ pages) at High quality can be slow on phones β use Standard quality for those.
