Frequently Asked Questions

How do I convert PNG to JPG?

Add your PNG files, choose JPG as the output format, and press Convert. Note that JPG does not support transparency — transparent areas become white.

What is WebP and why convert to it?

WebP is Google's image format for the web. It produces files 25–35% smaller than JPG at similar quality and supports transparency like PNG. Converting website images to WebP makes pages load faster.

Will converting change image quality?

PNG output is lossless — pixel-perfect. JPG and WebP are lossy, but at 85–90% quality the difference is invisible in normal viewing. Converting from a lossy format to another lossy format can add slight artifacts, so keep quality high.

Is it safe to convert images here?

Yes. Conversion happens entirely in your browser. Your images are never uploaded to any server.

Can I convert many images at once?

Yes. Add multiple images, convert them all with one click, then download each one or everything together as a ZIP file.

What happens to transparency when converting to JPG?

JPG has no transparency channel, so transparent pixels are placed on a white background. If you need transparency, convert to PNG or WebP instead.

Does it keep the original image dimensions?

Yes. Conversion only changes the file format, never the width or height. To change dimensions as well, use our Image Resizer.
